1 · What cookies are
Cookies are small text files that a website stores in your browser. They allow the site to remember things across pages or visits, a login token, a language preference, a consent choice. Similar technologies (localStorage, sessionStorage, pixels, fingerprints) do the same job by different means; this policy covers all of them and we will use “cookies” below as shorthand.
2 · The categories we use
- Strictly necessary: required for the site to function. We set these without asking; without them the site will not work. Examples: your consent choice itself, security tokens that prevent form abuse.
- Preferences: remember choices you have made (e.g. preferred language). Set only with your consent.
- Analytics: help us understand which content is read and which routes break. Set only with your consent and stored in an aggregated, de-identified form where possible.
- Marketing: would let us measure the effectiveness of advertising. We do not currently use any marketing cookies; if that changes we will not set any until you opt in, and this section will be updated.
3 · The specific cookies we set
The list below reflects the cookies and localStorage entries the Site sets today. Where a third party would set a cookie on a future deployment (e.g. an analytics provider), we list it as a placeholder and will publish the actual cookie name and retention before turning it on.
| Name | Purpose | Category | Retention |
|---|---|---|---|
| icl_consent_v1 | Stores your cookie-consent choice (essential / preferences / analytics). | Strictly necessary | 12 months |
| icl_lang | Stores your preferred site language (EN / TH). | Preferences | 12 months |
| (reserved) _va_uid | Placeholder for a future privacy-respecting analytics provider (e.g. Plausible, Fathom). Not active. | Analytics | n/a, not currently set |
4 · Third-party cookies
Some pages embed content from third parties (Google Maps for directions, YouTube for video). Those embeds may set their own cookies under the third party's policy. We do not control those cookies. Where reasonable we use the privacy-enhanced embed variants (e.g. youtube-nocookie.com) to minimise their footprint.
5 · How to manage your preferences
You have three ways to manage cookies:
- The Icellaré cookie banner: appears on your first visit and is reopenable from the footer link “Cookie preferences”. You can accept all, reject non-essential, or open the customise panel to choose category-by-category. Your choice is stored in
icl_consent_v1for 12 months. - Your browser settings: every major browser allows you to block or delete cookies. Blocking strictly- necessary cookies will break parts of the Site.
- Global Privacy Control (GPC): if your browser sends a GPC signal, we treat it as an objection to non- essential cookies.
6 · Do Not Track
Major browsers no longer reliably support the Do Not Track header. We honour Global Privacy Control instead.
7 · Changes to this policy
We will update this page when our cookie list changes. The “Last updated” date at the top of this page reflects the most recent revision.
